Review of The SMOK Species

I give the Smok species 5 stars. I am a huge fan of Smok and I have used many of their mods, and this one is by far their best product yet! I have been using it just over a month now, I wanted to use for awhile before reviewing, and so far I have not had any issues.

I love the design of the mod. I have small hands and have had a hard time finding a mod that fits my hand comfortably. The fire key is the whole side and I like it. I have not had any issues with the fire key. There isn't a delay when pressing it. I also really like how the tank is centered on the top of the device.

I think the look of it alone is beautiful! The charging port is on the front just under the screen and that helps to charge and keep it standing, that way you don't have to lay it down and juice come from the top of the tank. Speaking of the tank, I did have issues with it. It would not latch shut. In order for it to click together I had to take out the white rubber piece, and with doing that I have to keep it from laying down because it would open and leak.

I wasn't able to find a way for it to close and not leak, so unfortunately I had to buy another tank. I went with the rainbow metal Freemax Mesh Pro with dual mesh coils and it puts out some great flavor. The mod with this tank creates a tasty, smooth hit. I use it on standard mode 60 W and use 3MG liquid. One thing I love about this mod is the touchscreen.

I previously used the G-Priv Luxe and this screen is definitely upgraded. I also enjoy the ability to change the color of the screen. It also has a display of battery A and battery B percentage. It takes two 18650s. When you power on the device, it asks if you are over 21 years old, which is a cool security measure.

Smok is an amazing brand and they make some beautiful mods! I would recommend this to everyone! I am actually going to buy another for my boyfriend, he seems to always steal mine because he loves it so much!! Also, one con would be that it does show fingerprints, due to the material (I have the rainbow one).

I don't think that is a huge flaw, but wanted to let others know just so they are aware. It may also just be the rainbow color, I haven't seen any other color. I hope this helps! Hands down best Smok mod and you will have no regrets about getting this beauty.
